PE-soft tapes

For timber buildings made of profiled beams – Perodrážky – we offer self-adhesive tapes made of PE-soft material for use and additional insulation. This material fills the gaps in the grooves and mainly in the connecting joints, effectively increasing the thermal insulating properties of the entire structure – see comparative thermography. The dimensions of the insulation tapes are supplied according to the customer’s request – e.g. 20x6mm, 30x8mm, 40x6mm… etc.

Properties of PE-SOFT material:

The self-adhesive PE SOFT seal is made from foamed, physically cross-linked polyethylene PE Soft with a closed-cell structure and a density of 35 kg/m3. Special additives ensure very high softness and easy compressibility with excellent dimensional memory, comparable to polyurethane (foam) and PVC foams. PE SOFT tapes are resistant to chemicals, have a wide temperature range for use with temperature stability up to 120°C, and retain their consistent quality.

USE:

PE SOFT tapes are suitable for any sealing applications requiring low compression force, applications with uneven surfaces, for sealing connections metal + metal against dust, drafts, moisture, heat loss, for thermal sealing of windows and doors, ventilation ducts, for glaze-free glazing, for interrupting any thermal bridges, during cladding of objects with sheet metal and panel systems, mounting of polycarbonate sheets, mounting of drywall UV partitions, for all applications against vibration damping, noise reduction.
